First World Problems?

I'm getting my hair cut later this week. I keep thinking I'll just get a trim.....I like having long-ish hair so I can do all the trendy hairstyles like side braids and sock buns. But then I see my friend S, who has short, wavy hair that looks fabulous, and I think how easy short hair would be.....with short hair, I could just run my fingers through my hair each morning and be ready to go.

Then I think about how slowly my hair grows, how it would take me a year to grow my hair back to shoulder length.....
